CASS Technician

A large banking organisation seeks a contractor to support the company's compliance with the FCA Client Asset Sourcebook, (CASS) regulations, the CASS Technician will report into the CASS Controller and support the Controller, CASS Consultant and the Operational Risk team in the production and continuing evolution of company's CASS management information reporting.

Role Responsibilities:

Daily updating of management information pack to support the CF10a in the effective oversight of unapplied funds.
Daily production of entity level stock and cash reconciliation reporting packages.
Daily calculation and processing of unapplied funds balance sheet cash posting requirements.
Monthly production of CASS Scorecard for review at Scorecard Working Group and CASS Oversight Council
Performing ongoing maintenance of the CASS Sharepoint site
Conducting quarterly content integrity testing of the firms' CASS Resolution Packs and Embedded hyper links.
Applicants require financial services industry experience and knowledge of global custody operations. Experience in production of management information reporting and/or reconciliations would be beneficial.

Skills Required:

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with macros essential.
Self starter with ability to work under minimal supervision.
Good communication skills.
Willingness and ability to challenge current report production methodology and offer practical suggestions for production enhancements.
