CARD SPEND/DATA ANALYST - Cardiff - Financial Services

Overview of Role

The spend team plays a key part in the credit card customer management process. The goal of the team is to increase usage and engagement with their credit card products by utilising different propositions across the customer life cycle, from short term special offers to changing customer habits and attitudes.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide detailed portfolio analysis to identify and understand key trends which can drive improved spend activity

* Support the building of business cases to drive proposition development including financial analysis, market analysis and targeting recommendations

* Be involved in the end to end delivery of marketing campaigns to our existing customers

* Monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations on improvements that can be made

Essential Skills

* Highly numerate, preferably with a numerate degree

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple way

* A team player with the ability to build strong relationships

* Preferably have experience of SAS and SQL
