Card Payments SME

Card Payments Project Manager required to be responsible for managing strategic and ongoing activities for chip card implementation support and providing subject matter expertise to issuers, acquirers and merchants that are migrating from magnetic stripe to chip cards (or related EMV-based products).

He or she may also work with external consultants, terminal manufacturers, card manufacturers, personalisation bureaus, testing labs and test tool vendors.
This contractor will build relationships with current and potential issuing, acquiring and merchant partners. This involves providing support to our sales teams in client meetings and providing consultative support throughout client product implementations. He or she will also interact regularly with current and potential network partners, including providing training and other SME guidance as required.

Skills:

- The candidate must have extensive payments experience (preferably with chip cards)
- Will assist clients with EMV onboarding and terminal certifications
- Has successfully led and implemented business critical projects of large scope
- Experienced in managing multiple partner/vendor relationships simultaneously; must possess excellent client management skills.
- Strong PC competency (MS Office products, Visio, and Microsoft Project) required
- Well developed presentation skills, including the ability to effectively deliver information to internal and external constituents at all levels
- This position will require the candidate to perform a wide variety of tasks; a wide degree of creativity is expected
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong aptitude for planning and organization, detail - oriented
- Candidate must be able to travel internationally
