CARAT Worker - Lancashire

Our client has a job vacancy for a CARAT Worker to work in Lancashire. This vacancy has an immediate start and an initial 3 month contract. The pay rate for this role is £12-16 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Carrying out assessments.
- Attending meetings.
- Facilitating group sessions.
- Liaising with individuals with substance misuse problems.
- Providing one-to-one counselling and psychosocial sessions.
- Working with doctors, healthcare workers and community based professionals.
- Giving information and advice regarding housing, community treatment, financial issues and other support networks.

Requirements:
All applicants must have experience of working with substance users and preferably experience of working in a prison environment. You will have an organised, efficient and solution focused approach to work and will need to be committed to working in the challenging environment of a prison. You must be eligible to work in the UK and prison clearance is essential.
