Calypso Business Analyst

For a client in Amsterdam, I am looking for a Business Analyst Calypso

TASKS

- Gather business requirements and translate those into Calypso solutions
- Configuration of the Calypso system
- Close collaboration with the developers to implement customizations (if required; focus on out-of-the box Calypso).
- Document both configuration and customizations
- Create user guides and provide training/user demos where needed
- Execute functional testing and support User Acceptance Testing

SELECTION CRITERIA

Knowledge/Experience
- University level education
- > 6 years experience with configuration/customisation of Calypso
- Backoffice knowledge regarding equities and Fixed Income
- Experience with implementing accounting for position based products, eg Equities/Fixed Income.
- Experience with configuration of the following Calypso functionality:

*Accounting rules/events
*Liquidation configuration
*Position keeping
*Task station
*Corporate actions
*Message Set-up
*Workflows
- Experience with Java development in Calypso, eg the candidate is able to read Java code (preference for technical background, not a hard requirement)
- Ability to bride the communication gap between business and IT and bring both parties together
- Fluent in English, both written as verbally
- Preference for experience with the (agile) scrum development methodology
