Calibration Technician, Medical Devices, Switzerland

For our Life Sciences client in Switzerland, we are currently seeking a German speaking Calibration Technician.

JOB TITLE: CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN

LOCATION: SOLOTHURN, SWITZERLAND

START DATE: ASAP

END DATE: 31/12/2016 (POTENTIAL EXTENSIONS AVAILABLE)

LANGUAGES: FLUENT IN GERMAN AND ENGLISH

Your role:

- Responsible for ensuring company products are in compliance with internal and external specifications by performing a variety of routine and non-routine inspections and evaluations. This includes activities related to Inspection and Testing, Batch
- Release and Records Management, First Article Inspection, 3D CMM, and Calibration.
- Orders test equipment and GMD from approved suppliers.
- Administers test equipment and GMD physically and electronically within local GMD Management System.
- Conducts scheduled calibration and maintenance on test equipment and GMD.
- Provides assistance for the performance of validation activities including application of statistical software
-Implements revisions, corrections and changes to test equipment, procedures and methods.
- Issues and executes NCR within the software application.
- Acts as owner of actions assigned from Quality Systems (NCR, CAPA, Audit Observations)

Non-Technical profile requirements:

- Some flexibility in working hours is required
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision;
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter;
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills;
- Able to follow change management for internal guidelines.
