Calibration Lab Support Engineer w/Metrology Experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand and calibrate complex metrology systems such as air gages, functional gages, and surface metrology.
- Certify and calibrate metrology systems
- Write reports
- Provide training
- Troubleshoot problems with gages
- Coordinate simple laboratory activities

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Metrology laboratory experience.
- Must have experience in a calibration laboratory and be detail driven.
- The ability to follow procedures and provide feedback is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Must be a team player and detail oriented.
- Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas.
- Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.

*If you are familiar with Mahr, Pratt and Whitney, Zeiss, OKM, and/or SIP dimensional calibration equipment, you are an ideal fit.*

SKILLS
MUST have Mahr 828 operating experience.
