My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, are looking to recruit a Calibration Engineer to join their Power/Train division on a long-term contract basis.

Rate: £29.82 p/h Ltd co.
Location: Whitley

Position Description:

* To include scheduling and booking of the required emissions tests, plus the management of any vehicle fitting and set up work required for each test.
* Reporting results and document writing - Compile test reports, work with the relevant calibration engineers for each diagnostic being tested (both internal and external, eg Bosch) and report the status of the work on a weekly basis
* Writing the results into the final report template after the successful completion of each of the demonstration tests

Experience Required:

* Diesel emissions OBD functionality and calibration Use of INCA, analysis of test data and ability to relate this to the functionality of the Bosch diesel engine control system
* Knowledge of the US EPA emissions test procedures for diesels

Education Required:

* Minimum 2 years experience of modern diesel emission control systems (EGR, DPF and SCR) and the associated diagnostics for the California OBD II regulation
* An HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering desirable
