Calibration Engineer

Engineer Calibration Position Description:

Automatic Transmissions Calibration are responsible for all aspects of the transmission software that includes the shift scheduling, shift functionality and shift quality These attributes combine to form the transmission calibration attribute. Transmission calibration will work closely with transmissions controls and transmission hardware team to support the continued delivery of world class transmission calibrations working closely with the supplier and other COC's Working as part of an established, motivated, highly technical and dynamic team.

Skills Required:

Highly self-motivated engineer with proven inter-personal communication/networking skills.
Able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision.
Calibration experience
Flexibility and able to work under pressure and to project gateway requirements.
Working knowledge of INCA, ASL and CAN architecture

Skills Preferred:

Experience of supplier management and co-ordination
Working knowledge of auto trans hardware functionality and testing
Good understanding of EMS torque structure including noise factors and test methods
Experienced of vehicle assessments

Experience Required:

Experience of working in an Engineering environment.
Technical understanding of the Powertrain & Transmission systems
Relevant Engineering Degree or higher Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
