CAD Operations Technician - Solidworks - AutoCad - CAD Drafter Solidworks

Description:
Performs routine assignments with guidance from supervisor, engineers, technicians or detailed procedures.  Performs routine tasks and evaluations.  Technical adequacies of routine work are reviewed on a completion.  Becomes familiar with the operation and design of equipment or product, maintenance procedures and the various standards and technical tools used.

Responsibilities:

o        Recognizes and resolves routine process and equipment problems and refers more complex issues to higher levels.

o        Extract engineering data from various sources and processes the data following well defined methods or procedures (elementary algebra, geometry).

o        Presents data and necessary details of findings in standard formats; point out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or other general observations.

Requirements: 
Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Some technical courses or on the job training in related field.
Experience:  1+ years in CAD field.  Typically responsible for performing tasks of moderate complexity.  Capable of using reason and logic in problem solving.

Specific Requirements:

Intermediate SolidWorks skills

Intermediate to advanced drafting skills

Beginner to intermediate MS Office skills

Good communication skills important but not crucial
