CAD Engineer - Powertrain/Design Engineer

Job Title: CAD Engineer - Powertrain/Design Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced CAD Engineer/Design Engineer to design and engineer powertrain systems and components including: Fuel, Oil, Cooling, HVAC, exhaust, base engine, transmission and driveline.

Main Responsibilities:

- Liaise with system engineers to establish component and system requirements.
- Create package schemes using NX 7.5 and TCE8.3 to corporate requirements.
- Migrate components from IDEAS to NX and repair 3D models & 2D details as required.
- Release of 3D and 2D detail designs, including maintenance of TCE Digital Bucks.
- Support programme and Powertrain Checkpoints, Design reviews, package meetings.
- Support engineers in the resolution of engineering concerns including ensuring CAD information is available and transferred to the supplier in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Competent with NX7.5 and Team Centre Engineering
- Previous experience of Automotive Powertrain related CAD design
- Degree Level or equivalent length of relevant experience
