CAD Engineer Job

CAD ENGINEER is needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity for Yoh's client in Beaverton, OR.

What You'll Be Doing:
- CAD Engineer will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed drawings of printed circuits (layout) and/or electro mechanical systems.
- CAD Engineer will check design layouts and detailed drawings against product standards.
- CAD Engineer will provide input regarding scheduling and forecasting.
- CAD Engineer will maintain a computer work environment and manage project files, including archiving files at the end of a project.
- CAD Engineer will create/update library symbols to support their own projects and those of others.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- BSEE, CS or related subject matter
- Recent familiarity with Cadence 16.5 (or newer) and its constraint manager.
- Ten (10) plus years of experience and proficiency using PCB layout tools such as Cadence Allegro, AutoCAD, PCAD and PROTEL.
- Ten (10) plus years of experience with very dense, multilayer board (10+) designs
- Experience with Cadence library creation
- Familiarity with DFM, DFA, DFT requirements (Valor experience)
- Knowledge of high density interconnects and fine pitch parts.
- Knowledge of High Speed serial circuit design and layout requirements (PCIe, USB, etc.).

Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with mechanical CAD required, Pro-E in particular is a plus.
- Schematic capture in cadence concept is a plus
- Ability to create scripts and modify Workstation environment for productivity is a plus
