CAD Designer Job

CAD DESIGNER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Allentown, PA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS

- CAD Design experience.
- SolidWorks experience
- SAP or MRP.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The processing of production orders to generate a manufacturing package consisting of drawings, bill of materials and specification sheet.
- Working in SAP (MRP/ERP system) to generate or revise bill of materials.
- Association of drawings to parts.
- Processing of Engineering Change Requests which would result in revisions to drawings and bill of materials plus possible redlining of as-built records.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Solid Works or other CAD software; 3D modelling experience preferred.
- Individual must know drafting practices and procedures, basic math, geometry; 3 dimensional visualization abilities, be able to express information in verbal and written form using Microsoft Office.
- Entry level with Technical Certificate, Associates Degree in Engineering/Technology/Computer Aided Drafting or two to four (2 - 4) years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- SAP knowledge or another MRP/ERP system is a plus.
