CAD Design Draughtsperson

CAD Design Draughtsperson/AutoCAD 2010/Immediate Start/6 months

My client a leading Media services and infrastructure company have an urgent requirement for a CAD Design Draughtsperson to be part of their dynamic team.

Job Purpose:

*To be subject matter expert in design requirements for Steelwork Design & Detailing, Civil & Structural Engineering or Electrical Design & Detailing for site installations.
*To supervise and provide technical direction to more junior draughtspersons and sub-contractors.
*To design and prepare general arrangement, planning, structural and detail design drawings.
*To organise and carry out site surveys including buildings and structures and produce clear and concise reports.
*Promote an effective Safety, Health and Environment culture, to ensure a safe and healthy working environment within area of operation
Maintain a secure working environment in line with ISO270001, and the requirements of the company Information Security Management System in order to protect individuals, information and company assets

Responsibilities

Activities & Key Deliverables -
*To represent the company's interests in front of customers.
*To maintain accurate site records information.
*To maintain company to adhere to existing process and procedures and ensures compliance by junior team members.
*To maintain the company Master Drawing System by auditing the relevant AutoCAD files produced using the system both within the company and within vendor organisations producing drawings on behalf of the company.
*To keep abreast of current legislation, regulations and guidelines relating to role.
*To take on other duties, from time to time as demand dictates, outside normal job description role.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

*HNC or equivalent.
*Advanced technical knowledge of AutoCAD 2010 and above
*Professional institute membership or significant technical training and design experience in Structural or Civil & Structural Engineering disciplines
