Currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with a client of mine which would be based in Kortrijk, Belgium and they are looking for a Cable Engineer.
Job Requirements:
*Required to support major accounts in the Netherlands and must be based out of Belgium to have access to test equipment and work with peers from business unit.
*Testing & troubleshooting. Focussed on Cisco cable & video/set top box technology.
*Focus will be largely testing and troubleshooting of CPEs in a Cisco DOCSIS/cable modem and Set top box environment.
*Working knowledge of Cisco DOCSIS/cable modem, but need to be able to pick up Set top box knowledge quickly.
*Need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Lab testing (New configuration testing, issue validation and new fix/workaround testing, help the new image certification tests, collect the information/data for the business unit, support with the CPE related activities (like CMTS related issues)
Position: Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Kortrijk Belgium
