C# WPF/Silverlight Developer

Our client in Zurich downtown is currently looking for a C#/WPF developer to integrate EQ Funds features and products into its Cross Asset Portal.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- High expertise in WPF/Silverlight service development and asynchronous service communication eg RX (Reactive Extension)
- Experienced in integration of complex processing systems (eg trading platforms)
- Expert of C# .NET framework
- Demonstrates experience of using Design Patterns (advantages and drawbacks)
- Experience of using 3rd party frameworks/components (eg Telerik)
- Worked on applications with complex scalability and performance challenges
- Experience of the full project life cycle
- Experience of Agile practices and processes (eg SCRUM)
- Used a language other than .NET eg Java or Scripting language
- Experience of developing software for a large Enterprise, including n-tier development
- Architectural experience in modular deployments
- Experience with SQL Server or Oracle is a plus
- Understanding and exposure to Test Driven Development
- Knowledge of Real Time trading platforms or other critical transaction based solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of FX or similarly complex investment banking products would be ideal
- Excellent written and spoken English
