C# UI Developer Job - WPF Specialist - 1 Year Contract
C# UI Developer Job, WPF, C# UI, WPF UI, GUI expert, .NET 4.5, Contract C# Job
Are you an experienced C# developer with excellent User Interface/WPF skills? Are you looking for a contract C# UI developer job that will enable you to perform predominantly greenfield development whilst working closely with Front Office business users? Are you available to start a new contract within 1 month? If so, this could be the job for you.
In this C# UI Developer job, you will be responsible for the Front End development of the fund manager's brand new trading and analytics platform. To do this, you will be expected to have strong knowledge of core C# 4.0, proven experience of developing multithreaded WPF User interfaces, with the MVVM pattern and most importantly have worked in a very Agile environment.
You will be given priority if you can demonstrate prior Back End experience (ie. WCF, messaging and SQL server design) and have good knowledge of Inversion of Control with either Castle or Spring.NET.
Given the close interaction with Front Office business users, anyone without prior Financial Markets (Bank, Hedge Fund, Insurance) experience will unfortunately not be considered.
This will be an initial 12 month contract, but there is enough pipeline of work that this could go on for at least another year.
