C++ Solaris Developer (Ticino)

On behalf of our client, a leading bank in TICINO, Switzerland, we are looking for a C++ SOLARIS DEVELOPER in order to provide development functions for the Investment Bank's Global Credit Risk systems. For this long-term contract position our client is looking for English speaking candidates who can start as soon as possible. ROLE:

- Process changes that go through multiple tiers including feed processing, risk calculations and exposure reporting
- Design and implement new server functionality
- Write code to implement business logic
- Write and amend stored procedures in the Sybase/SQL Server databases
- Work together with Project Managers, Business Analysts and external IT teams
- Ensuring all codes and development practices are compliant with company guidelines

SKILLS:

- Development background using C++, UNIX (Solaris), and a major RDBMS (relational database management system).
- Experience with Shell Scripting and Perl
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with all phases of the systems development life cycle
- Track record of delivering to specification and to deadlines
- Sybase ASE (15) experience are a plus
