C++ Solaris Developer

C++ Solaris Developer wanted for our Ticino based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- A strong development background in C++, UNIX (Solaris) and a major RDBMS (relational database management system) with IT commercial experience
- Several years´ experience with Shell Scripting and Perl
- Solid understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and experience working in an IT environment with rigorous change control procedures
- Knowledge of all phases of the systems development life cycle
- Sybase ASE (15) knowledge is an asset
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus

YOUR TASKS:

- Taking responsibility for changes that go through multiple tiers including feed processing, risk calculations and exposure reporting
- Designing and implementing new server functionality and providing support for the existing systems where necessary
- Writing and improving stored procedures in the Sybase/SQL Server databases, implementing business logic and new features
- Utilizing standards, architectures and processes to ensure that all code and development practices comply to company guidelines and industry best practices
- Participating in all aspects of the project life cycle, following stringent rules and procedures for testing
