C++ Opengl QT Engineer

Proteus Europe is looking for some C++ OpenGL, QT engineers for a contract with one of our clients, the role will be developing a media player for Windows.

Key responsibilities:
- Application development, deployment and testing on Windows
- Designing, developing and testing SW components for audiovisual media playback
- UI development using the Qt Framework and OpenGL
- Independent and self-driven problem solving on this technical domain

Desired Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent SW development skills with Windows application development experience
- Extensive experience in C++
- Experience in using the Qt Framework and QML
- Good knowledge of OpenGL and GLSL
- Good interpersonal skills for working together with other SW developers and designers
- Familiarity with common SW development tools and processes

Recommended:
- Experience in Mac OS X and/or Linux application development
- Experience in utilizing multimedia frameworks such as FFMPEG or Microsoft Media Foundation
- Good understanding of audio and video codecs, containers, and multimedia streaming technologies
- Good knowledge of Direct3D and HLSL
- Good knowledge of OpenCL and/or CUDA
