C# GUI Trading Application Developer

ROLE The ideal candidate will be responsible for development of a Microsoft .NET C# Service Oriented Architecture application that is extremely feature rich and has responsibility to maintain "off-the-shelf" quality standards. This position will require immediate and extensive knowledge of how to build a scalable and maintainable platform using WPF methods on the client and the straight C# on the server. REQUIREMENTS ?5-7 years of relevant experience ?Technical expertise in financial/trading systems architecture, design and development, on the server-side and client-side. ?Strong Microsoft technology background, including a deep understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework, database design, message oriented middleware, XML, Web Applications and network communications. ?Experience/exposure to equity products ?Strong exposure to market data distribution engines and API's (TR, Bloomberg, etc.) ?Hands-on experience designing and implementing systems based on an Enterprise Service Bus design pattern. ?Knowledge of building server-side, real-time interactive service-based applications. ?Knowledge of how bringing a commercially viable product to market evolves and works. ?Have an understanding of technical and strategy based trading, coupled with order and execution management knowledge. ?Understanding of algorithmic or quantitative techniques. ?Experience with fast-paced development teams ?Web development, GUI and usability design experience a plus Only candidates currently located in the USA will be considered.
