C# Developer - Risk IT - WCF, WPF

C#, WCF, WPF, Multi-threading, OO, UI Design, Oracle, TOAD, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, OLAP, Market Risk, Credit Risk, Risk Management. A leading investment bank based inCanaryWharfis looking to appoint a C# developer to one of their central Risk teams to work on the development of a number of Risk tools and applications. Candidates are expected to have extensive experience of front to back C# development, including WCF, WPF, multi-threading with excellent OO understanding. It is imperative that applicants also hold excellent experience of user interface design, iterative requirements gathering and prototyping. Strong database skills are required, preferably with exposure to Oracle, TOAD, SQL*Plus and of SQL*Loader. In addition any exposure to OLAP technologies would be a plus. From a business perspective a general understanding of the Risk space is needed and specific business knowledge of Market Risk/ Credit Risk or any of the following would be helpful: FX, Commodities, Credit Derivatives or other derivative products.
