C++ Developer/Chicago

A proprietary trading firm in Chicago is actively seeking a Senior C++ Developer to lead a team of 10-12 Developers. The upcoming project call for the redevelopment of firm's proprietary trading platform. This a role that will require a significant amount of project management and personnel management in addition to hands on C++ development. This is a full time position located in Downtown Chicago.

Qualifications:

- BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or comparable experience
- 5+ years of experience in C++
- Experience with Templates, Boost, and STL a plus
- Database (Oracle, MySQL), XML (dtd, schemas)
- Strong Understanding of OOD and Software Design Patterns
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment with continuous integration
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Java or C# experience a plus
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Legal domain expertise & experience working on legal research platforms a strong plus

Compensation: Expected compensation for this position is between $150,000 and $180,000. Benefits include quarterly bonus, health insurance, 401K and catered lunch and breakfast.
