C++ Developer

C++ Developer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Proficiency of C++, a major RDBMS, UNIX (Solaris) and Perl
- Extensive IT commercial experience
- Confidence in diverse technical skills and computing savviness
- Familiarity with all phases of the systems development life cycle
- A firm comprehension of common change control policies and procedures and experience working in an IT environment with rigorous change control procedures
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Collaborating with allocated Project Managers, Business Analysts, IT and business teams, operating technical analysis of the existing system, implementing change requests and new features
- Conducting changes that go through multiple tiers from the Java application through to the Back End databases
- Providing Server Side code to implement business logic as well as amend stored procedures in the Sybase/SQL Server databases
- Applying standards, processes and architectures as well as ensuring that all code and development practices conform to company guidelines and industry best practices
- Taking part in all aspects of the project life cycle, following strict rules and procedures for testing and developing code according with company change control processes
