Commodities Trading - 6 Month Rolling Contract
£600 - £750 Per day - Surrey

Harrington Starr is working with one of the most successful commodities firms to help find a lead C# developer to join a cutting edge team to lead major risk projects across trading. As a lead C# developer you will be taking ownership of multitude of projects working very closely with the business and Quant's. The role will require extensive multithreaded development working with technologies such as WCF, Rabbit MQ, MSMQ, and C#. It calls for an extremely talented server side C# developer whom also has good SQL skills. As the Lead C# developer you must have proven yourself on delivering major projects and have a good mix of C# and SQL skills.

As the lead C# developer you will be working on risk and valuation platforms within commodities trading, looking at VaR processes and stress scenarios. You will be getting involved in both leading and designing projects so the role calls for an all round developer who has a great passion for technology. Previous commodities and financial experience is a must, preferably with derivatives and risk experience.
