C developer

For our client in Brussels we are looking for a C developer.

Tasks:
Write the functional design document starting from the high-level analysis/design from the system architect
Prepare the coding and design document
Develop the software module
Execute the unit testing
Release the software module including the required release documents

Personal skills:
very meticulous and precise as the developed software will be used in operational systems which may impact the railway traffic
can work in team but also independently and autonomously
communicate in team to request the required information to perform the tasks
accurate in reviewing the input information and execution of the tasks

Technical skills:
experienced in programming language C (experience in Java is a plus)
experience with communication and Real Time software is a plus
experienced in the operational environment Linux and optionally VOS (Stratus computers)
active experience in Agile development (SCRUM - Kanban) is a plus
some experience in Oracle PL/SQL
if possible experience in developing safety relevant applications
development according to a structured methodology (eg UML)
