POSITION DETAILS

GTN Technical Staffing is looking for a C#/ASP.NET Developer with EDI Support/Maintenance HIGHLY PREFERRED, for a 12M+/Long-Term Contract in Irving, TX. This role will support existing technologies utilizing .NET technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET and Classic ASP.  Our client has existing proprietary applications that utilize EDI technology heavily, and since this role will be responsible for maintenance and enhancements of these applications, experience with EDI technology is required. The C#/ASP.NET Developer will ideally possess strong EDI development experience, strong T-SQL skills, and a solid foundation in .NET application development. The C#/ASP.NET Developer will deal primarily with Back End application integration to a SQL Server database ensuring validity and functionality of data transfers and data translations.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- Application Development/Support - C#/ASP.NET/VB.NET/Classic ASP
- SQL Server 2005/2008 Database Development/Support
- T-SQL/Stored Procedures/Triggers/Functions/Views/Joins, etc
- XML/XSL

PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED)

- EDI - Electronic Data Interchange
- Support/Maintain EDI Applications
- Communications Standards/Protocols - AS2/OFTP2/VAN-based EDI/FTP/FTPS
