C# .NET/T-SQL Developer

On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and outgoing Software Developer with strong knowledge of C# .NET and T-SQL to work on a project to enhance a reporting platform.

This is a 12-month rolling contract with a strong chance of extension based in Zurich, Switzerland starting in November 2016.

As the successful applicant you will work in a dynamic and international team of business facing developers working on the development and maintenance of Business Intelligence and Reporting platforms. The skill set includes not only database programming and report development, but also implementation of the Front End tools and enhance the platforms.

Your role will be to further develop a securities leading/Repo trading application.

Job Responsibilities:

- Create scripts on database level (T-SQL), C# (application Servers), mainly to support the reporting platform around scheduling, automation etc.
- Support in data processing for various topics
- Plan and build a full security concept in order to cope with legal restrictions, mainly from the ServiceNOW side but as well for other topics like HR-Reporting, EWFM etc.

As the ideal candidate for this position, you will possess the following skills:

- Minimum 5 years C# .NET development experience and knowledge of advanced programming practices
- Expert level knowledge of T-SQL
- Experience on DWH and Business Intelligence projects
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, Classic ASP, JavaScript, JQuery etc
- Motivated and enthusiastic team player with strong communication skills
- Someone that shows initiative and resourcefulness
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
