BW/DW Project Manager with Analytics Skills. EDW 2.0 - Stream Lead BW

Our client is currently building and enabling a new Data Warehouse solution in Analytics.
- The EDW 2.0 program consists of four different streams, where BW close down is one of them.
- Overall task is to be responsible for the BW close down stream.
The main tasks for this stream is to:
- Identify all dependencies to the existing BW solution at our client that will be closed as part of the program. Dependencies can be interfaces or data extraction to global, regional and local solutions. Many of the regional and local solutions are not known today by central IT and must be identified.
- Suggest low hanging fruits where a regional or local analytic solution can be easily closed in a short time-frame and replaced by EDW 2.0.
- Together with EDW 2.0 Program management decide what to do with the identified dependencies and if new interfaces should be created to the EDW 2.0 solution (eg to global solutions).
- Prepare and close down existing BW solution (SAP P50)
The role of the stream lead:
- Responsible for the roadmap of activities, sequence and dependencies within the stream but also to other projects and activities inside or outside the program
- Responsible to plan, establish and secure execution of necessary projects and activities in order to deliver expected result to the program.
- Responsible for securing resources/supplier for the decided projects and activities
- Will act as sponsor or steering group member for the projects established in the stream.
- Prepare for the initiation of new activities or projects to the Project/activity initiation board in the Program management function
- Responsible for controlling the detailed scope. Handle change request in the Technical stream and Program Coordinator function. Escalate to Program management function if required.
- Secure that budget for the activities is kept within the approved limits and not exceeded.
- To continuously monitor the identified risks including mitigation activities.
