Buyer - Indirect

I am currently recruiting for a high profile aerospace company based in Belgium and they are looking for an experienced Buyer to work on a 6 month contract.

Key details of the role are as follows:

FUNCTION:

With the support of the Group Leader:

- Ensure purchasing and subcontracting management for Indirect purchases (Opex, Capex, Energy, ICT ...)
- Decline purchasing strategies according to the type of need
- Ensure the relationship with the Suppliers
- Search and manage sources of supply, evaluate, negotiate, contract and monitor suppliers
- Ensure contacts with internal customers of the SABCA Group

PROFILE:

- Ideally, an experience of 2 to 3 years in indirect purchases
- Active knowledge of MSOffice; knowledge of SAP is an asset
- Bilingual NL or FR and EN; trilingual NL/FR/EN is a major asset
- Ability to communicate assertively
