Buyer required immediately for a 3 month contract based in Surrey to work for a major Infrastructure Company. You will provide support to the Procurement team whilst a permanent backfill is being recruited. The role will be fast paced and time sensitive, reflective of the Construction industry's project based nature. Day to day you will operate autonomously with minimal supervision.The role will require previous experience of procurement processes, ideally within a construction environment. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in negotiation and process compliance. This role will require excellent analytical skills, strong commercial awareness, a measured approach to decision making and the ability to ensure best value procurement.Ideally educated to degree standard and/or MCIPS qualification is desirable.
