Summary: Responsible for providing purchasing solutions expertise using Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, Management (QCLDM) to deliver maximum value in implementing a sourcing strategy for a specific Category.

Required Education: A bachelor's in IT or a non-IT bachelor degree with working experience in IT is required.

Required Qualifications and Skills: Strong initiative and communication skills, MS Office product usage expertise and the ability to analyze and understand contract language.

Desired Qualifications and Skills: Experience using My Supply Cabinet and other purchasing systems, and experience working with suppliers.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Executing procurement policies, source plans and source catalogs. Supporting Business Unit programs requiring IT Services. Liaise with the corresponding Site Buyers as needed.

This position is part of a team of buyers within the Global Indirect Purchasing organization that works on a large variety of contracts that address IT Services requirements. This role is very critical to meeting contractual requirements on key business initiatives and implementing sourcing strategies for IT Services. Responsibilities include working with contract templates and updating schedules and master agreements during the contracting process. Other responsibilities include partnering with business units on supplier selection, and assisting the lead buyer with negotiating contracts while also working closely with Legal Services Division.
