For a project at our bank client here in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
BUSINESS TEST MANAGER (2786)
Our client is in the process of establishing a new Swiss banking entity that has the goal to deliver the compliance to the TBTF Resolution Requirements by the middle of 2016. They are looking to enhance the existing Business testing coordination team with a new member.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and support the overall testing efforts for the CRO function interfacing into the central program in relation to alignment and execution of front to back testing
Manage the end to end test planning and progress tracking
Define the testing approach and strategy for CRO
Manage the scope of work and inform and support business colleagues
Co-ordinate provisioning of test environments and test data
Lead and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases and test procedures
Monitor, measure and report on test progress
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have an UNDERSTANDING OF MARKET RISK APPLICATIONS, CREDIT RISK APPLICATIONS AND OPERATIONAL RISK APPLICATIONS
Knowledge and experience of financial derivatives and banking products
Ability to manage the functional scope of business testing within the context of a release/delivery
Ability to PLAN, MONITOR, AND CONTROL TESTING ACTIVITIES AND TASKS
Ability to define test objectives, test policies, test strategies and test plans
Good knowledge of QUALITY CENTER AND JIRA toolset
Several years of Banking/financial services experience
Recent regulatory project experience
Good English and if possible German
This position is more a regulatory role with a FOCUS ON OVERSIGHT AND PLANNING AND LESS OF AN EXECUTIVE HANDS-ON role.
