For our client, an international mining company based in Zürich, we are currently looking for a

BUSINESS SYSTEMS CONSULTANT

The Business Systems consultant will provide support to Group Manager IT Infrastructure and Operation, Solution Architects, Service Owners and Global/Regional IT Operations Leader by serving as an organizational and technical resource through the daily administration of solution design, service delivery, request management and project work. He/She will drive and coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to reach key results in respect to the budget constraints. This person must have the ability to analyse complex situation, create and propose concepts, requirements and action plans, build consensus, execute decided plan with the expected quality and create professional documentation.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

- Support the projects, solution, service design and service improvement activities by analysing situation and data, proposing action plan, execute and lead projects, with initial engagement on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) remediation plan and IT assessment;
- Act as project manager, meet with leaders, users and suppliers to define project scope and objectives, prepare plans and create documentation;
- Monitor project schedule to ensure timelines and deliverables are met; negotiate and align with project manager or sponsors if timelines are in jeopardy;
- Prepare business cases, documents and presentations to support management conversations and decisions;
- Engage with external suppliers to define statement of work, prepare project plan, follow-up the engagement and report progress;
- Manage administrative tasks as well as data processing activities on a regular basis; and
- Use our IT service management, enterprise resource planning and reporting tools to define data fields, import data and create queries and reports.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Assist leaders, project managers, solution architects and service owners in creating and maintaining business and solution requirements documents, functional specification documents, project plans, decision-making documents;
- Lead and drive actions by defining project objectives, planning, tasks, deliverables and resources, track progress, engage with resources to guarantee key results, report progress to project sponsor;
- External suppliers engagement and deliverables;
- Maintain IT Service Management data base and published reports.

YOUR PROFILE:

- 3 to 5 years experience in Product Management, Service Management, Service Support, Business Analysis, Process Consultant or equivalent fields
- Master Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Project Management
- Business Process Architecture
- Data consolidation skills and summarization in simple, visual and actionable information
- Data Privacy and Legal/Contract Management background as a plus
- ITIL terminology and concepts in practice as a plus
- Infrastructure solution and services based mainly on Microsoft software (Exchange, Lync, Sharepoint, AD, SCCM, SCOM), Cisco network, voice and video conferencing products, Data center and hosting services, Cloud services
- Very strong end-user and customer oriented mindset
- Professional and positive attitude, including excellent listening and communication skills
- Dyamic, positive attitude, self-motivated, able to developp quick wins, short term solutions as well as medium to long-term plans

START DATE: ASAP, LATEST MID-JULY
DURATION: 4-6 MONTHS INITIALLY
LOCATION: ZÜRICH
