Business Systems Analyst Job

SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Seattle, WA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for implementing best practices for both domestic and international business, inbound and outbound transportation for all business units
- Works closely with Supply Chain Operations business units and technology teams to ensure that the designed software solutions and business processes are feasible, meet the SCO business unit requirements and support strategic business initiatives
- Create business process models, standard operating procedures, training material and job aids using Visio and other tools
- Perform unit, integrated and functional tests and resolve issues found during testing
- Create technical design documents from business requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5) years' experience as a business analyst with 2 full life cycle TMS implementations
- Knowledge of standard transportation electronic data interchange sets for all modes
- Solid understanding of business area issues and applications area issues
- Strong communicational skills with the ability to collaborate and consult with technical and non-technical business line personnel

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean
