Business Systems Analysts study the overall business and information needs of an organization, in order to develop solutions to business and related technology problems. A Business Systems Analyst's role is usually undertaken prior to the system design, building and programming stages of the systems development process. Works closely with clients to identify business needs and the costs and benefits of implementing a computing solution. Construct IT definitions based on identified needs of the organization. Work with other IT experts to address networking and hardware needs. Devise and document a general system design based on the client's anticipated requirements. Negotiate options with the client.

Looking for experience with department share data migrations, knowledge of Active Directory security groups, excellent MS Excel skills, and ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Top 3 - 5 Daily responsibilities
The position will assist in the department desktop migration to Windows7, additionally there will be some responsibility to assist in migrating Servers from local facilities to National Data Centers. Daily task will be to work with business partners in defining desktop and server requirements, managing meetings to ensure environments are properly set up and tested, work with appropriate teams to hand off or manage transition to the new environment. The individual will not be doing the migration work but must have a solid understanding of what needs to be done and how the various technology components work.

Ability to work in an ambiguous environment with changing priorities, document business requirements, project management, Windows 7 and application compatibility challenges, Understanding of Server technologies and infrastructure, Able to Write test cases. Working knowledge and understanding of Active Directory Security Groups. Must be proficient to expert in Excel. Prefers past department data migration experience.
