Business/Systems Analyst (C8)

Finite's government client is seeking an experienced BUSINESS AND SYSTEMS ANALYST to join their team ASAP on contract through to 30 June.

THE CANDIDATE WILL HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A BUSINESS ANALYST AND BE REQUIRED TO:

- Work under the direction of the Director of Software Development and Collaboration Services;
- Work with directors, project managers and science division staff to facilitate the delivery of various projects and/or work packages, within various delivery methodologies including agile and waterfall methods.
- Coordinate, engage and manage stakeholder relationships as required;
- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

THE CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE ESS AND SYSTEM ANALYSIS TASKS INCLUDING:

- Project scoping
- Business and Technical Requirements elicitation and documentation
- Develop and document Functional and technical specifications
- Work within an agile software development framework, producing analysis inputs and artefacts required for sprints
- Business process analysis, mapping, design and documentation
- Work with technical staff (developers, architects etc) to develop and document system designs  
- Client engagement and stakeholder management
- ITIL processes
- Transition systems from project to BAU operations

Candidates are required to be Australian Citizens due to security requirements. A current baseline clearance would be a distinct advantage.
