Business Systems Analyst

Are you a BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST looking for exciting, unique project work in SOUTHWESTERN ONTARIO for the next 6 months? TIRED OF COMMUTING TO DOWNTOWN TORONTO? THINK WEST! We're based in Brantford, close to the 403; within a 40 minute commute of Oakville and Burlington, Hamilton and KW.

This role will have you working on mobile projects in BRANTFORD, ON for HOLSTEIN CANADA.

In this role, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

- Contribute to a web project replacing existing business programs by liaising between and engaging operational and IT professionals
- Gather thorough business requirements, whether clear or complicated, and translate them into specifications a developer can work with
- Detail software build specifications
- Capture workflows, write the use cases, write use case specs
- Analyze processes, create flow charts and activity diagrams
- Work with Agile development methodology, participate in daily scrum, set work estimates and meet deadlines
- Work in a true team setting with a mix of high-performing consultants and full-time staff, in our Brantford office

YOU ARE A GREAT FIT BECAUSE YOU HAVE:

- 5-10 years' proven TECHNICAL BUSINESS ANALYSIS experience, preferably with mobile projects
- PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE IS A DISTINCT ASSET
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with User Acceptance Testing, business implementation processes
- Proficiency in writing Business Requirement Documents and Use Case Documentation
- Familiar with Case Complete software, MS Visio, UML
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred
- Comfort participating in daily status meetings, setting work estimates, meeting deadlines
- Able to communicate professionally in English (speaking & writing)
- MUST have HST and business numbers, or be able to obtain them
