Randstad Professionals is looking for a Business Systems Analyst having experience in the field of IT systems and business processes within pharmaceutical Industry in Basel, Switzerland.

The Business Systems Analyst position in PTR will be responsible for participating as an active member in cross-functional business teams that support the identification, development, delivery andmaintenance of technology projects and systems within Global Pharma Technical Regulatory (PTR).The Business Systems Analyst will prepare and provide training, prepare reports and documents, handle incoming systems users questions and issues, take and distribute systems related meetings minutes, maintain systems training schedules and calendars, implement and maintain systems documentations, collate systems users feedback, maintain systems databases, serve as a central point for disseminating intra-departmental systems support documentation and tools, and coordinate the flow of traininginformation externally and internally.

Key Responsibilities:

Project management of OBE Business Systems solutions including:

- Define project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to develop project charter and project plans
- Plan, schedule, and control project activities and project team meetings to fulfil objectives and satisfy project requirements and strategy
- Coordinate and facilitate associated project resources to gain alignment on project goals and deliverables
- Ensure risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
- Manage projects within established scope, schedule, and budget
- In collaboration with project team and program manager, develop, execute and sustain effective project communication, training and change management plans
- Be the local technical expert on all PTR Systems, including RAPID and RAPID Direct (our Documentum-based systems for authoring of regulatory submissions), GPRS (our custom registration tracking and submission archive) and other Enterprise systems that we leverage for ongoing operations
- Development of systems and new tools; preparing and updating of systems User Guides, work instructions and business processes.
- User Administration and management; Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Providing training for CMC Support persons and Super Users within Global PTR
- Local and global System Support for Systems Users
- Establish effective partnerships with project team members and provide project management leadership to their core or sub-teams
- Global support for product managers(TRLs) within PTR, eg Finalizing submissions which are created in collaboration of different sites considering site specific requirements and business processes
- In addition, for the assigned projects, the business lead will partner with the business leads representative on global projects led from other locations.

Skill Requirements:

Language:

- 5+ years of experience as a successful systems leader in the field of IT systems and business processes within pharmaceutical Industry.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using, troubleshooting, supporting and training information systems
- Solid experience providing end user support and processing, tracking and managing support incidents and requests
- Proven ability to obtain results in a global, cross-site Matrix environment
- Demonstrated ability to execute on a technology strategy and ensure that results are in alignment to the business' priorities
- Ability to communicate, present and train across a variety of audiences, including business people and technologists (both up and down the organization)
- Regulatory knowledge with regards to submission generation and related technology is a plus
- General understanding of various System Development Life Cycles (SDLCs)
- Demonstrated competency in planning, tracking and delivering on assignments and requests
- Ability to work cross functionally, across global locations/time zones
- Proven ability to create strong working relationships in a global setting with many different cultures
- Excellent listening, problem solving, and facilitation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

Education:

- Relevant Bachelor's degree in MIS, Life Sciences, Business; or equivalent experience
- German speaking highly appreciated
