Business Systems Analyst

An exciting opportunity has become available for a BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST to join a committed team responsible for planning, designing, developing and introducing efficient business, financial and operations systems to support core organisational functions.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Liaise with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues
- Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems
- Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to system programmers
- Analyse the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop a plan for improving these systems
- Partake in the performance of in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support
- Participate in cost-benefit and return on investment analyses for proposed systems

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Experience in designing, developing and implementing software solutions and associated business process changes
- Excellent facilitation skills to help drive workshops with both business and technology teams towards the right outcomes
- Working technical knowledge of J2EE based applications systems, network and PC systems, protocols and standards and ORACLE and SQL Databases
- Sound documentation skills for generating and compiling reports
