JOB DESCRIPTION:
Business Systems Analysts study the overall business and information needs of an organization, in order The NCAL Tapestry U/M Referrals project has the need for two AC (Application Consultant) contractors to ensure the build will complete on time in late Q2 2013.
The AC contractors will need to provide build support for the initial Tapestry go live, Epic 2012 configuration changes, and Tapestry Stage 2 implementation (in coordination with the KPCC Stage 2 go live in April 2014)
The positions need to be Epic Tapestry Certified to be successful.
The AC contractors will also provide ongoing maintenance and production support if they roll into 2013 or beyond.
Because of the long lead times required to staff a position of this calibre, critical nature of the project, and that there are not a lot of qualified Epic Tapestry U/M resources in the market, we have decided to bring in two known experienced contractors fill this role.

The position will through the end of 2012 utilizing existing project funding. However, a new request will be submitted near the end of 2012 to account for any additional contractor needs.

MINIMUM NUMBER OF YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED -
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
5 plus years configuring Epic Tapestry U/M Referrals software module.
3-5 years experience of business analysis type work interpreting and understand business requirements.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
3+ years related experience in Application Configuration, relevant Technical setting, Relevant Healthcare setting, Medical Office setting, system implementation and/or installation.
Specific experience with EPIC or other EMR, CPOE, Revenue Cycle content and/or industry expertise.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
Successful track record implementing the Epic Tapestry U/M referrals module
Ability to interpret business workflows and requirements and build in Epic Tapestry U/M referrals module
Ability to build/configure the Epic Tapestry U/M referrals module

Educational Requirement:
