BUSINESS READINESS MANAGER -TRANSFORMATION - 6 MONTHS - MANCHESTER

A top retail bank based in Manchester currently requires a Business Readiness Manager to join a Banking Transformation Programme for an initial 6 month period.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with multiple business units to ensure they're ready for each deployment and report back stakeholders
- Work with the business area to ensure an effective approach to business implementation, handover, and acceptance of the change.
- Work closely with the Programme Leads to provide regular status reporting appropriately to different stakeholders and to agreed standards and recommend options for contingency plans.
- Define and implement a detailed delivery approach for each stage of the project life cycle, obtains acceptance and buy-in to the approach from all team members, and produces and owns all project management deliverables, using established project methodologies, to the right level of quality.
- Produce and owns the project plan. Controls, manages and monitors project timescales and budgets, reporting variances, escalating as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs, and re-forecasting where necessary.
- Track resource requirements (including roles and responsibilities), budget and FTE profile for areas of responsibility.

KEY SKILLS

- Project Management experience in a business readiness capacity
- Experience of dealing with and leading Matrix managed teams
- Experience of working within a large retail bank (or similar corporate)
- MS Project and complex budget leadership
