CONTRACT BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER (FINANCIAL SERVICES) - MANCHESTER

Urgent contract role for an experienced Business Project Manager to join a national marketing communications brand. The role will work with their global financial services client therefore experience as a Business Project Manager within Financial Services or servicing this sector is highly desirable.

THE PROJECT

You will be the Business Project Manager for a key project to move this FS client's services from a 3rd party supplier across to this marketing communications business. The business will also be 'passing' some work over to the 3rd party supplier.

Experience wise we are looking for a Business Project Manager who has been involved in projects to switch users/providers in new/existing accounts previously, have been involved in managing the change aspect and implementing the new service.

SKILLS - BUSINESS PROJECT MANAGER

- Contribute to the delivery of the strategy, profit and revenue through the effective leadership and management of business projects
- Management of a project team ensuring that projects are delivered to agreed scope, timescales and budgets
- Leadership of project objectives, facing off to the client, managing their expectations, and dealing with challenges that may arise
- Lead & manage designated business projects ensuring the project is delivered to agreed scope, timescales and budget
- Negotiate with line management for the provision of project resources in order that the project deliverables can be achieved
- Manage and motivate designated project teams to ensure the achievement of project objectives
- Provide the primary contact point for client and all stakeholders, and drive delivery of the project in line with objectives
- Ensure a business case exists for each project. All business cases need to be agreed and signed off by the project sponsor
- Ensure adherence to project management standards (PRINCE 2/6 SIGMA) and best practice
- Provide high level reports on designated projects to all stakeholders and Executive as required
