Business Project Manager required on a 6 month assignment for a leading Pharmaceutical company based in Cheshire.

The role will be working within Global Finance Services (GFS), who provide efficient transactional services delivered through a mix of in-house and outsourced shared service centres covering areas like purchase-to-pay, travel and expenses, order to cash and record to reporting.

The role will focus on three main areas:

Process Transition - Focused on moving work from the current organisation to GFS/Genpact service centres. Ensuring service delivery is not compromised.

Organisation & Process Transformation - Defining & Implementing organisational or process change, working in partnership with customers to achieve joint objectives.

New Process Implementation - Implementation of new or changed business systems and processes across customer and Global GFS organisations. This may involve technology implementation.

The success of this role will be measured in terms of successfully delivering to the business case (time, cost, scope, quality and benefit realisation)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage and deliver the project delivery work streams using effective project & change management techniques and disciplines.

Plan, lead and co-ordinate business resource from a Matrix organisation to deliver a project. This will include project and delivery experts provided by product suppliers, IS and Genpact.

Formulate with the overall programme leadership, customers and relevant stakeholders, the project strategy that best balances the needs of the project with resource and risk considerations.

Work formally and informally in partnership with the global process owner (GPO), with programme leadership and other stakeholders to ensure success of the Project.

Assist the global process owner in defining detailed Business requirements. The GPO will be accountable for process design and obtaining agreement and commitment to this design.

Develop and secure IS agreement to detailed project deliverables and budgets on the basis of close co-operation with the IS functions.

Review progress, costs and risks to ensure that timelines and other deliverables are met, and initiate and implement corrective action in the event of any identified deviation from plan.

Deliver excellent stakeholder management by using formal methodology and implementing stakeholder plans to ensure buy-in at all times.

KEY TASKS:

- Define & agree the project plans, including activities, resources, costs, roles, responsibilities and appropriate quality. Mobilise resources and own the plan-do-review (PDR) cycle to deliver to these plans.
- Manage the coordination of all project work streams through the provision of an AZ appropriate project management framework and the fostering of team working.
- Own and Lead resource management to ensure the right skills are available for effective delivery including project resource within the customer organisations
- Work with the GPO/Programme Manager to establish relationships with key stakeholders across regions and SET areas to ensure understanding and commitment to the project objectives.
- Monitor, analyse and mitigate risks to project success. Ensure steering group are always informed of risk and push to obtain advice and clarity.
- Deliver a successful change management and communications strategy working with GFS communications manager. Based on the AZ change management framework.
- Own, develop and manage benefits delivery monitoring versus the business case.
- Manage the project budget.
- Provide leadership and decision-making, in support of the delivery of the project.
