Business Process Analyst

My client is currently delivering several technology solutions throughout their organization. There are currently several functional components which are becoming problematic for the delivery time frame. Your role will be to work as part of a dedicated project team alongside subject matter experts to review several core processes and recommend options for improvement. Some of these processes are current processes which are in need of change and others will be future processes that need to be reviewed prior to the event to ensure they are fit for the purpose.

The successful candidate will have superb analytical skills and be able to form strong relationships with senior stakeholders to recommend a course of action to improve each process.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

- Review the actual processes within a business, and recommend a more efficient model and work flow process
- Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
- Designs process flows by analysing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
- Recommends controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.
- Monitors progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.
- Prepares technical reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Ensuring all testing of the solution is planned and completed following standards.
- Providing regular status reports, including the identification of key risks and issues (and the management of these).

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Specific and related experience in process analysis and a proven record in designing and recommending improved business processes.
- Excellent analytical and research skills with the ability to collect and analyse complex material and data, and present it in accessible formats.
- Previous experience working with system implementation projects.
- High levels of initiative with ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
- Experience in reviewing a wide range of technology solutions.
- Experience in business transformation projects.
