Business Process Analyst

- 8 week contract, extension after review
- Excellent CBD location
- Australia citizenship and Secret Security Clearance are mandatory

MY CLIENT IS SEEKING A BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYST WHO IS PROACTIVE, WITH A HIGH LEVEL OF ANALYTICAL THINKING TO CHALLENGE THE CURRENT THINKING OF THE BUSINESS. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE STRONG INITIATIVE COUPLED WITH THE ABILITY TO HANDLE CONFLICT, GENERATE NEW IDEAS AND CHALLENGE SITUATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTIVE MANNER.

Duties:

- Working closely with business users to review and reengineer current processes, and recommending improvements
- Analysing products and related processes
- Documenting new process models (swim lane diagrams, use cases, wireframes and prototypes)
- Communicating with end users to identify new features and improvements, prototyping
- Compare As Is and To Be models
- Implementation
- Assist with organisational change

Selection Criteria:

- Demonstrated extensive experience (5+ years) working as a Business Analyst in medium to large scale environment, including the ability to: Produce sound business cases, Prepare business and user requirements and specifications, Create swim lane diagrams and related workflow/process mapping
- Demonstrated experience with wireframe/UX development
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills, including instructional and formal presentation experience
- A tertiary education in Business or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to assist with organisational change management, including training and designing detailed process changes.
- Experience with Content Management System
- Experience with prototyping in an Agile environment
- EXPERIENCE WITH WORKING IN AN AGILE ENVIRONMENT AND A SERVICE ORIENTED ARCHITECTURE (SOA)
