Business Operations Analyst

We are looking for an Operations Specialist with strong project management and business analysis skills. S/He will assist the Program Manager in two key functions. The primary role of the successful candidate will be to assist the Program Manager in keeping the client's App Developer portal functioning with high quality. S/He will resolve more complex problems (beyond existing sustaining functions) associated with portal operations, root-cause and drive solution by effectively coordinating with content, communications, sustaining and engineering teams. The second role of the candidate will be to help manage business requirements and content creation for programs such as the Cloud Services platform, stakeholder management, mock-up creations, change management, and others.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Root-cause problems and drive solutions with sustaining and engineering teams
- Assist with launching of specific capabilities on the different portals by understanding the dependencies, crafting detailed plans and executing them
- Help define and manage a few processes to keep the portals running without causing lots of churns (in email and ticketing systems)
- Analyze business requirements and turn into technical requirements
- Break down high-level business and technical requirements into features using user stories, mock-ups and/or similar techniques
- Create user acceptance criteria and UI mockup
- Work with PMs and stakeholders to ensure clear and detailed understanding of requirements that span across multiple components
- Participate in the release planning and iteration planning meetings so that detailed requirements are handed off to engineering teams
- Own requirements change management (after impact analysis with architect and other stakeholders)
- Coordinate testing with QA- REQUIREMENTS
- 5 - 10 years of related work experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with a well-founded background in system analysis and business analysis
- Experience/knowledge in software development to understand both technical and non-technical requirements (coding not required)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast moving team
- Knowledge of web technologies (hands-on experience highly preferred as s/he may make minor changes to the portal)
- Project management or leadership experience
- Requirement elicitation, documentation and change management experience

NICE TO HAVE

- Strong Excel and SharePoint skills
- 2-5 years of system analysis or technical lead role
- 2-5 years in product operations or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of business analysis experience managing requirements
