BUSINESS OBJECTS SUPPORT SPECIALIST

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a BUSINESS OBJECTS SUPPORT SPECIALIST. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Provide first and second level support
- Coordinate efforts in and support resolution of larger scale issues- Analyze and resolve outages
- Consult project teams in building an Application on the Business Objects platform
- Enforce platform standards/guidelines
- Possibility to grow into the upcoming secondary platform based on Microsoft BI

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Strong knowledge of
- SAP Business Objects XI 3.1 (Enterprise Platform, Client Tools)
- Microsoft BI (SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS (2008 and up)
- Knowledge of:
- Windows Server 2003/2008
- UNIX Solaris/Linux
- Oracle 11g
- Experience in supporting large scale DWH/Business Intelligence enterprise environments
