Business Objects Developer (BOXI and SQL)
We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Data warehouse team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.
Your tasks:
•Design, implementation and maintenance of Business Objects XI Universes and Reports;
•User reporting requirements' analysis and documentation;
•Provision of assistance in testing, technical documentation and training, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
•Design and implementation of the reporting security strategy;
•Production and maintenance of analysis artefacts, data analysis and modelling;
•User account management, user support and user coaching;
•Management of Business Objects Central Management Console;
•Creation of on-line help in information systems;
•Migration and updates of Business Objects Framework;
•Participation in regular technical meetings with the users and project teams.
Your skills:
•Minimum 10 years of combined relevant university studies and experience in IT;
•Minimum 8 years of professional experience in SAP Business Objects XI reporting, tools, Webi, Deski, security, universes, reports and SQL;
•Experience in in ETL processes, Data Quality and Data Warehouse would be positively evaluated;
•Professional experience in drafting skills, user support and trouble-shooting;
•Good knowledge of UML or similar case tools will be a strong asset;
•Hands on experience with Agile, Scrum, RUP or similar methodology will be advantageous;
•Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
