Business Objects Developer

My client is looking for a Business Objects developer for a daily rate contract role based in Dublin

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for gathering data requirements from Business teams and ensuring that the required data is made available on time through an agreed process to a high degree of accuracy. The person should have senior level experience in an MIS role where BUSINESS OBJECTS was used in a data warehousing and reporting environment.

The primary data sets that are warehoused include

- Financial data
- Live service operations data
- Data Insights information in relation to processing end consumer data relating to the execution of marketing campaigns
- Planning and hands on operational execution of the following services in MIS team
- Finance team reports automation/generation
- Client campaign reports automation/generation
- Insights Team data requirement support
- Support of rewards processing for live Operational Campaigns
- Ad-hoc query generation against defined requirements from business
- Business Objects Platform support using 3rd party consultancy as appropriate
- Configuration Management of Data and MIS tools/scripts/reports
- Management Change Request processes against data extraction and reporting
- Management of Data integrity in Data Ware house universes & ETL from OLTP systems
- Support and Maintenance (including Change Requests) of Datawarehouse
- Implementation of Data Integrity Testing & reconciliation management of data processes
- Data Compliance and Regulation for all markets
- Configuration and test of Business Objects for new Campaign deployments
- Process and Procedure continual improvement to ensure accuracy of MIS services
- Management of client requirements
- Advocate for Data Management Best Practices
- Business Objects SME for MIS team
- Implementation of testing and reconciliation controls
